My work focuses on the Human-Climate Nexus—where environmental stressors such as temperature fluctuations influence time allocation, productivity, and economic decision-making across firms and society. I specialize in translating complex data into sharp insight, uncovering how climate realities reshape incentives, behavior, and growth.
As an incoming PhD student at Aalto University (Fall 2026), I am advancing research in energy and environmental economics with one objective: to decode complex systems and deliver evidence that helps solve problems brought by climate change while our demand for energy is growing faster and faster.
Analytical by training and global by experience, my perspective has been forged across four nations: from my roots in Nepal to my foundational steps as an economist in China, my refinement in Sweden, and my future pursuit of excellence in Finland.
